Safeguarding (Adults and/or Children as required)

Job Title: Care Assistant

Duties:
– Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes or residential care settings
– Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Help with meal preparation and feeding
– Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
– Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
– Accompany clients to appointments and outings
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Document and report any changes in client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred, but not required
– Compassionate and patient demeanor
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently
– Reliable transportation to travel between client locations
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
