Comity Recruitment is looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHO) or Assistant Environmental Health Officer to improve the suitability and condition of housing and management of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in Bath and North East Somerset for it’s client.

The role will be proactive enforcement work in the rented sector. There is a focus on residential property inspections.

The primary purpose of the Environmental Health Officer post is to ensure the efficient and effective performance of the Council’s statutory functions in relation to all residential property and to deliver housing services in accordance with the Council’s Vision and Values, Policy and other objectives and Government legislation. This is a front-line post dealing directly with members of the public at all levels both in and out of the office environment.
