Mobile Parking Attendant (Full-Time, Permanent — No Experience Required)

Pay Rate: £12.49 basic + £1.51 holiday pay (rolled-up) = £14.00 per hour
Location: Starting from Edinburgh West Retail Park (EH14 1RJ) — mobile across Edinburgh

About the Role

Comity Recruitment is seeking reliable and professional personnel to work as a Mobile Parking Attendant across Edinburgh.
You will start each shift from Edinburgh West Retail Park and travel between designated private parking sites to ensure that parking rules are followed and sites remain safe, accessible, and well-managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring private car parks across multiple Edinburgh sites

• Enforcing parking regulations on private land

• Issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) where necessary

• Checking vehicles for valid permits and compliance with site rules

• Reporting incidents, defects, or obstructions to management

• Providing friendly and professional assistance to the public when required

• Maintaining accurate records of daily activity and issued notices

• Days & Hours:

  • Wednesday: 10:00 – 18:00

  • Thursday: 10:00 – 18:00

  • Friday: 10:00 – 18:00

  • Saturday: 10:00 – 18:00

  • Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00

• Total Hours: 35 hours per week

• Contract Type: Permanent

• Pay: £12.49 basic + £1.51 holiday pay (rolled-up total £14.00/hr)

Requirements

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence

• Must have access to a reliable vehicle

• Must hold Class 1 Business Insurance

• No previous experience required — full training will be provided

• Must be punctual, professional, and customer-focused
