🅿️ Car Park Attendant – Liverpool City Centre

Location: Mount Pleasant Car Park, Liverpool, L3 5RR
Contract Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Shifts: 24/7 Rota (including weekends, nights, and bank holidays)
Pay Rates (PAYE Rolled-Up – Basic + Holiday Pay):

• Weekday: £14.52 per hour (£12.96 + £1.56)

• Saturday: £15.11 per hour (£13.48 + £1.63)

• Sunday: £29.05 per hour (£25.92 + £3.13)

• Waking Night (Weekday): £17.43 per hour (£15.55 + £1.88)

• Waking Night (Weekend): £18.01 per hour (£16.07 + £1.94)

About the Role:

We are recruiting for Car Park Attendants with prior parking enforcement experience to support Liverpool City Council’s on-street and multi-storey parking operations.

Based at Mount Pleasant Car Park, this is a vital public-facing role involving direct interaction with members of the public, operational support through intercom systems, and proactive patrols across multiple city centre sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face and intercom-based support to drivers

• Patrol car park facilities to monitor for anti-social or criminal behaviour

• Respond to emergency incidents and report safety concerns

• Support the removal of rough sleepers from car park areas

• Assist in service delivery for the Arena and Exhibition Centre

• Parking enforcement experience (essential)

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Flexible and reliable – able to work a 24/7 rotating shift pattern

• Willingness to patrol on foot and handle challenging situations professionally
