🅿️ Car Park Attendant – Liverpool City Centre

Location: Mount Pleasant Car Park, Liverpool, L3 5RR
Contract Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Shifts: 24/7 Rota (including weekends, nights, and bank holidays)
Pay Rates (PAYE Rolled-Up – Basic + Holiday Pay):

• Weekday: £14.52 per hour (£12.96 + £1.56)

• Saturday: £15.11 per hour (£13.48 + £1.63)

• Sunday: £29.05 per hour (£25.92 + £3.13)

• Waking Night (Weekday): £17.43 per hour (£15.55 + £1.88)

• Waking Night (Weekend): £18.01 per hour (£16.07 + £1.94)

About the Role:

We are recruiting for Car Park Attendants to support Liverpool City Council’s on-street and multi-storey parking operations. Based at Mount Pleasant Car Park, this role is a mix of control room monitoring, public interaction, and on-site patrolling.

While parking enforcement experience is not required, it would be an advantage. Full training will be provided, especially in the use of CCTV enforcement for moving traffic violations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor car park activity and traffic movements via CCTV

• Support drivers via intercom and in person at car park facilities

• Patrol sites to identify safety, security, or operational issues

• Provide high-quality customer service and respond professionally to enquiries

• Assist with enforcement of parking regulations and safety procedures

• Support the Arena and Exhibition Centre operations when needed

Requirements:

• Customer service experience (essential)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern

• Comfortable using technology (training provided)

• Parking enforcement experience is a bonus, but not essential
