Comity Recruitment is recruiting a Parking Attendant for a static foot patrol position at Metrocentre Shopping Centre, Gateshead NE11 9YG. No previous experience is required, as full training is provided.
Pay and contract
- Basic pay: £12.94 per hour.
- Holiday pay: £1.56 per hour.
- Total rolled-up pay: £14.50 per hour including holiday pay.
- Full-time, temporary position.
Hours and shift pattern
35 paid hours per week. The rota covers Monday to Sunday, with five eight-hour shifts and two days off each week. Shifts are scheduled within the 09:00–20:00 operating window.
Each shift includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break, giving seven paid hours per shift. Working days and days off vary according to the rota.
About the role
You will patrol the car park on foot, maintain a visible presence and help ensure site parking rules are followed. This is a customer-facing position based at the Metrocentre.
