Job description
Comity Recruitment is recruiting a Parking Attendant for a static foot patrol role at The Galleries Shopping Centre, Washington NE38 7SD. No previous parking experience is required; full training is provided.
Pay and contract
- Basic pay: £12.94 per hour.
- Holiday pay: £1.56 per hour.
- Total rolled-up pay: £14.50 per hour including holiday pay.
- Full-time, temporary-to-permanent role with ongoing work.
Hours and rota
35 paid hours per week. You will work five eight-hour shifts across a Monday-to-Sunday rota, with two days off each week. Each shift includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break, giving seven paid hours per shift. Working days and days off vary with the rota.
What you will do
- Patrol the car park on foot and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor parking areas and help ensure site parking rules are followed.
- Assist customers with a professional, helpful approach.
- Support daily site operations and follow site procedures.
What we are looking for
- No previous experience required; full training provided.
- Ability to carry out extended foot patrols and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance.
- Confidence following site instructions and procedures.
