Comity Recruitment is recruiting a Car Park Attendant in Croydon for a static foot patrol role at Valley Leisure & Retail Park, Croydon CR0 4YA. No previous parking enforcement experience is required; full training is provided.

About the role
You will work as a Car Park Attendant at Valley Leisure & Retail Park, Croydon CR0 4YA. Your duties include patrolling the retail park on foot, monitoring compliance with parking regulations, issuing Parking Charge Notices where appropriate and providing professional, helpful customer service.
Pay: £14.50 per hour including holiday pay
- Basic pay: £12.94 per hour.
- Holiday pay: £1.56 per hour.
- Total rolled-up pay: £14.50 per hour, including holiday pay.
Hours and shift pattern
35 paid hours per week.
- Tuesday: 14:00–22:00
- Wednesday: 14:00–22:00
- Thursday: 14:00–22:00
- Friday: 14:00–22:00
- Saturday: 14:00–22:00
Each shift includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break. This gives 40 scheduled hours and 35 paid hours per week.
The working pattern reflects the client’s current operational requirements and may be amended in line with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Carry out regular foot patrols throughout the retail park.
- Monitor vehicles and ensure compliance with site parking regulations.
- Issue Parking Charge Notices where appropriate.
- Provide professional and helpful customer service.
- Use handheld equipment to record parking activity accurately.
- Report relevant site issues or incidents.
- Maintain a professional presence while on patrol.
- Follow client policies, procedures and site-specific requirements.
