{"id":1624,"date":"2022-10-06T10:42:51","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T09:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comityrecruitment.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=1624"},"modified":"2023-03-01T00:13:08","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T00:13:08","slug":"parking-administration-assistant","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/comityrecruitment.com\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1624","title":{"rendered":"Parking Administration Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Comity Recruitment is looking for an <strong>Parking Administration Assistant<\/strong>\u00a0for one of it&#8217;s client:<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidates need to have some knowledge of parking enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a combination of admin post with some outdoor duties which involves carrying light weight such as a small box of paper tickets.<\/p>\n<p><b>You must have:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A full drivers license.<\/li>\n<li>Able to use IT &#8211; Microsoft office packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Providing you have the above experience\/skills.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>No experience is necessary for the below as training will be provided<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Duties includes and not limited to the below:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1. Dealing with and assisting customers using the Council\u2019s parking machines<\/p>\n<p>2. Issuing replacement\/new tickets in the Car Park pay on foot permits and system administration for the system<\/p>\n<p>3. Dealing with minor repairs to the parking machine equipment<\/p>\n<p>4. Petty cash handling and helping customers with regards to wrong change or monies being received<\/p>\n<p>5. Dealing with and escalating any faults with the parking machines and equipment<\/p>\n<p>6. General administrative duties as required by line manager including filing, copying, post and updating reports<\/p>\n<p>7. Responsibility for answering incoming calls and liaising with Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO)<\/p>\n<p>8. Produce reports for the Parking Services Manager on operational functions e.g. complaints re machines, number and nature of phone calls, etc.<\/p>\n<p>9. Direct CEOs with via Radio and telephone<\/p>\n<p>10. Responsible for the maintenance of the radio system<\/p>\n<p>11. Book and record authorised annual leave and sickness for Parking Services staff based at the Parking Office<\/p>\n<p>12. Ensure CEOs shift reports are checked and collated and sent to the Senior Parking Administrator<\/p>\n<p>13. Point of contact for SHE and SafetyNet, ensuring staff log and input as necessary<\/p>\n<p>14. Monitor the performance of Contract Security, or any other regular contractor, as directed by the Parking Services Manager<\/p>\n<p>15. To help maintain and improve performance of the Front Office and Enforcement Functions<\/p>\n<p>16. Maintain car park safety inspections and escalate where necessary<\/p>\n<p>17. Raise purchase orders and invoices as necessary<\/p>\n<p>18. Order uniforms and stationery as required<\/p>\n<p>19. Monitor pay and display system remotely<\/p>\n<p>20. Carry out such other duties as may be required by your Deputy Chief Executive appropriate to your skills and to a level of responsibility not exceeding the grade on which you are appointed.
